We’ve got it covered…
We offer a wide range of dental services and treatments from general dentistry to cosmetic procedures and also advanced solutions.
We can’t recommend attending for routine (at least 6 monthly) appointments enough. This helps us to detect the development of any problems before they cause any lasting damage as early detection can prevent tooth loss. Our primary interest is the health of your mouth, teeth and gums.
Our practice has the benefit of having a dental hygienist who is highly trained in the prevention of gum disease and can recommend specialist advice and carry out treatment to help you to achieve a first class standard of oral hygiene. We also offer a wide range of hand selected oral health products to help you maintain good oral hygiene between visits.
Replace those tired old fillings with a modern, invisible alternative. Make stained, yellow fillings at the front magically disappear.
Sealants are a safe and painless way of protecting teeth from decay. A sealant is a protective plastic coating which is applied to the biting surface of the back teeth. The sealant forms a hard shield that stops food and bacteria getting into the tiny grooves in the teeth and causing decay.
Inlays and Onlays
Can often be used in place of traditional dental fillings to treat tooth decay or structual damage. Whereas dental fillings are placed in one visit inlays and onlays are made in a dental laboratory before being fitted and bonded to the tooth by a dentist.
Modern all ceramic crowns look really natural and and last for a long time if well looked after. Get rid of that ugly black line at gum level once and for all with a well-fitting modern all-porcelain crown.
Although permanent teeth should last a lifetime, sometimes teeth which have become damaged or heavily decayed may need to be extracted. For our patients with baby teeth we can help the tooth on its way especially if there is discomfort due to them being wobbly or maybe they need them removed as they are overcrowded (occasionally it is beneficial). Don’t worry they will be given the tooth for the tooth fairy! …..What is the tooth fairy rate nowadays?
Root Canal Treatment
Also known as a root filling or endodontics means that we remove the damaged or dead pulp and fill the space with a rubber material. The remaining tooth can then be restored.
These are removable appliances that can replace missing teeth and help restore your smile. If you have lost some or all of your teeth due to gum disease, tooth decay or injury, replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and your health.
A dental bridge is used as a permanent replacement for one or more missing teeth. They help restore your natural bite and prevent unwanted movement of the adjacent teeth. Not filling the gap can lead to biiting and/or jaw problems.
Another option for replacing missing teeth. An artificial tooth root (made of titanium) is placed into the jaw and a lifelike porcelain tooth is attached to it, which is matched to the colour of your own natural teeth.
An increasingly popular procedure, veneers are ultra thin, custom-made porcelain laminates that are affixed directly to the teeth. They are a great option for straightening teeth or disguising discoloured teeth.
An option for chipped or cracked teeth, composite bonding is a process in which an enamel-like material is applied to a tooth’s surface, sculpted into shape, hardened and then polished for an ideal smile.
Gently and easily we can smooth off those rough irregular edges to your teeth. A subtle change can make a huge difference. It’s so easy! You could be pleasantly surprised.
Braces are not just used to straighten teeth, your smile and whole facial structure also benefit from having your teeth straightened (orthodontics) by bringing symmetry and aligning the jaws. We have various options to suit your requirements.
An incredibly simple procedure to boost the colour of your teeth which can be carried out chairside at the practice or by giving you a tailored kit to use at home. This is our most commonly prescribed cosmetic dental procedure.
Professional tooth cleaning
Treat yourself to a little luxury. Nothing beats the clean feeling you get from a hygienist visit. This, like whitening, is increasing in popularity. It is also essential before some treatments especially tooth whitening is carried out. Everyone is prone to staining, we all seem to enjoy tea, red wine, coffee or a curry once in a while. Why not book in before a special occasion, first date or even an important meeting to get a fresh and healthy smile which oozes confidence. You don’t even need to see the dentist first, just book straight in with our hygienist.
